When an ancient star went supernova it created a being of great energy. This was something unique and clearly a result of the ancient star’s mysterious origins. Unsure of its purpose the being explored space for several years, but never found another like it.

In a playful manner the being danced along with a comet but soon realized that the comet was headed towards a planet. This, however, was no ordinary planet. The being felt that this planet was unique just like it was.

Without thinking the being rushed to save the planet, and using its great energy, altered the course of the comet. Seeing that this planet, called Earth, was full of life the being decided to stay.

However, not long after it arrived the being was attacked by super-villains for its immense energy. Saved by a lone super-hero the being knew what it wanted to do. Inspired and using a large portion of its energy the being took on the permanent form of a human female appearing of about the age of 17.

Donning a cape and uniform she decided to use her powers to help the victimized citizens of Earth as Novagirl, and to learn more about her new home attending a local high school as Jaimee Hunter.
